The focus of the "Central Lab" is on tests in accordance with the applicable automotive standards. The range of these tests includes mechanical tests on elastomer materials, the determination of environmental influences and resistance, fire tests and emission analyses, as well as other chemical and physical tests. The Central Lab has been accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17025 since November 2021.

As an accredited laboratory, the test results are recognized as independent. This offers considerable advantages for the client and the recipient of the test reports, as these results are reliable. This is becoming increasingly important in the automotive industry in particular.
