Due to the presence of carbon black in the elastomer compound, it may exhibit electrical conductivity. However, in certain automotive applications, this is not desired. Therefore, it is important for our customers that we verify the electrical conductivity of our compounds.

Using appropriate equipment, we are able to evaluate the specific volume resistivity (DIN EN IEC 62631-3-1) and the electrical resistance (ISO 2878) of test plates and profiles.
