Product Developer (m/f/d)

SaarGummi is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality sealing systems for the automotive industry. Our customers include almost all well-known automotive manufacturers. We attach particular importance to working in partnership with our customers and jointly developing tailored solutions from the initial idea through to implementation in the series production process.


Your tasks:

• Independent development of body sealing systems (extrudates and molded corners including the associated purchased parts (such as metal inserts, clips, etc.) as well as overmolding and 2K injection molded parts, mainly for convertible and coupe sealing systems.
• Ensuring the management of CAD data Saargummi and customer-specific systems
• Project work with regard to construction on site and in-house
• Coordination of CAD data exchange between SG, suppliers and customers
• Installation tests and evaluation of the sealing systems at the customer's premises
• Supervision and monitoring of orders to external CAD service providers
• Intensive cooperation with the project teams and production.
• Compliance with work instructions, occupational safety and environmental regulations

Your qualifications:

• Degree from FH/University
• Ideally 3 years of completed vocational training
• Professional experience within the framework of the pay scale, min. 3 years
• Independent high-quality activities
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Specialized knowledge required (knowledge of the CAD system Catia V5, and/or Catia V6 or Siemens NX)
