We are looking for a Manager Controlling Central Functions (m/f/d)

SaarGummi is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality sealing systems for the automotive industry. Our customers include almost all well-known automotive manufacturers. With more than 6000 employees, we currently operate in Asia, Europe, North and South America. We attach particular importance to working in partnership with our customers and jointly developing tailored solutions from the initial idea through to implementation in the series production process.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates SaarGummi Group reporting for all global central functions to management and shareholder and contributes to all tasks within Finance in order to keep quality and deadlines for reporting to the shareholder and external auditors.
  • Prepare and update the Group transfer pricing documentation
  • Liaises with accounting & taxes in order to ensure reporting consistency over the different functions
  • Manages the global recharging process between legal entities as well as capitalization of central function cost
  • Supports with economic and financial analysis necessary for the operational and strategic management of the company
  • Takes ownership of planning tools and coordinates SaarGummi Group budgeting process as well as the monthly forecast and 5-year planning.
  • Analyses variances to budget/forecasts and works closely with budget holders to understand, explain and anticipate financial performance
  • Preparation and checking of group reports for plausibility
  • Responsibility for further development of the current report structure as well as the controlling tools and processes for the internal control
  • Preparation of ad-hoc-analysis for our management
  • Contact person for our subsidiaries in reporting issues
  • Trains and develops subsidiaries finance team to achieve company expectations.
  • Cross-functional communication with partner departments

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Economics or comparable other degrees in foreign countries
  • At least 5 years of work experience in Controlling position
  • Expert knowledge in reporting and analysis
  • Excellent English Skills, excellent German Skills desirable
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge (Excellent Excel Skills necessary)
  • Good SAP experience
